Ingredients Of Vegetable Momos

For Dough:

  • 2 Cups Maida
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

For Filling:

  • 1 Cup Carrots -Grated
  • 1 Cup Soya Chunks – Soaked In Water
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 cup Onion – Finely Chopped
  • 1 Tsp Garlic – Chopped
  • 1 Tsp Soya Sauce
  • Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Vinegar
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper

How To Make Vegetable Momos

1.Mix well the maida, salt and baking powder and knead to a dough with water.

2.Heat oil in a pan and add the onion and gaSaute over high flame and add the carrot and soya chunks. Fry well

3.Take it off the flame and mix in the Soya sauce, salt, vinegar and black pepper.

4.Roll the dough thin (translucent) and like for a puri.

5.Take a round, wet edges and place some filling in the center.

6.Bring edges together to cover the filling. Twist to seal and fill the rest in the same way.

7.Steam for about 10 minutes and serve hot with soya sauce and chilli sauce.
