- 1 cup – Paneer Cubes
- 1 cup Chopped Onion
- 2 cup Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 tsp – Ginger- Garlic paste
- 1 small cinnamon stick (dalchini)
- 1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds (jeera)
- 4 tsp – Dry Coconut
- 4 – Whole black pepper
- 1/2 tsp -Fennel seeds (saunf)
- 1 tsp – Sesame seeds (til)
- 2 – Cardamom (Elachi)
- 2 – Cloves(laung)
- 6 – Cashew nuts
- 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp – coriander powder (dhania powder)
- 1 tbsp – oil
- Coriander leaves– chopped
HOW TO MAKE PANEER KOLHAPURI:
1.Dry roast the black pepper, dry coconut, sesame seeds, cardamom, fennel,cinnamon stick, and cloves till the spices are nicely roasted and coconut turns brown.
2.Add the cashew nuts and switch of the flame.
3.Transfer it to a mixture jar and Grind this into a smooth paste, adding a little water.
4.In a pan, heat oil and add the cumin seeds and ginger-garlic paste. Saute in a low flame.
5.Now add finely chopped onions and saute till the onions turns brown.
6.Now add the prepared paste. After few seconds, add the finely chopped tomato, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
7.Let this cook for a while in a low flame. Add the paneer cubes and add water to get desired consistency.
8.Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
