Ingredients For Aloo Tikki
- 5 Medium Potatoes, Boiled And Peeled
- 1/2 Tsp Coriander Seeds
- 1/2 Tsp Pepper
- 1/2 Tsp Cumin
- 1 Cup Peas,Boiled
- Salt to taste
- 2 Tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 8-10 Tsp Refined Oil
- 1 Onion, (Julienne or Chopped)
- 2-3 Green Chilli,Chopped
- Fresh Coriander, A Small Bunch(Chopped)
- 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
How To Make Aloo Tikki
1.Take a pan and Dry roast coriander seeds, pepper and cumin. Transfer to the grinder and grind to a Powder the dry roasted spices.
2.Mash five potatoes in a bowl. Take another bowl and mash a cup of peas. Combine the two together and mix well.
3.Add ginger-garlic paste.
4.Saute onion (julienne) in a pan with refined oil and add them into aloo tikki mixture.
5.Add little salt, roasted masala spice, green chilly, fresh coriander and red chilli powder into aloo tikki mixture. Mix well. Add 1/2 tsp oil for some moisture.
6.Divide the mixture into equal balls. Take a ball of aloo tikki and gently press to flat them and give them a round shape. To set the aloo tikki refrigerate for 30 minutes.
7.Sprinkle some flour onto them.
8.Shallow fry in refined oil , in a non-stick pan, the aloo tikki.
9.Garnish and serve hot.
